Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Bestan processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information you provide
Bestan may process your account details, optional profile details such as your first name, skin profile and goals, session history, routines, notification preferences, notes, photos you choose to upload, and friend connections you choose to accept.
2. Location and weather
With your permission, Bestan uses your location to request local UV and weather information. You can disable location access in your device settings, although local features may then be limited.
3. How information is used
Information is used to authenticate you, provide and sync app features, personalize your experience, show local UV and weather, deliver the notifications you enable, respond to support requests, and protect the service from abuse.
4. Service providers
Bestan relies on service providers, including Base44 for app infrastructure and Open-Meteo for weather and UV data. These providers process limited information needed to deliver their services and apply their own privacy and security terms.
5. Friends and sharing
Tan Twin uses real Bestan users who have accepted a friend connection. Only the information required for the feature is shared. Bestan does not generate fictional friend profiles and does not sell personal information.
6. Retention and deletion
Data is kept while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account from Settings or contact support. Limited records may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention or security purposes.
7. Your choices
You can change notification and location permissions, edit profile information, stop sharing with friends, request help with your data, or delete your account. Contact support to exercise a privacy right that is not available directly in the app.
8. Security and changes
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online service can promise absolute security. This policy may be updated as Bestan evolves; the date above will show the latest revision. Privacy requests can be sent to red@exoty.com.
